Draw directly on your screen.
Edit everything later.

Portable screen annotation for engineers. Every arrow, callout and measurement stays editable — with no installation, account or internet.

  • Offline
  • No telemetry
  • No admin rights

Why Edivect

  • Open → Draw → Export

Launch to first stroke in under two seconds. Copy a finished markup to the clipboard with a single keystroke.

  • Everything stays editable

Select, move, rotate, restyle or regroup any object — hours later. Nothing is flattened until you export.

  • Private by design

Runs fully offline. No account, no telemetry, no cloud. Your screenshots never leave the machine.

  • Built for CAD workflows

3-point arcs, angle measurement and freeze mode match how CATIA, NX and Creo users already think.

Interactive editing

A vector editor that opens as fast as a screenshot

Tools for drawing, measuring and reviewing directly on your screen.

  • Editable objects

Nothing is baked in. Click any arrow, shape or label to get eight resize handles, a rotation handle and a right-click menu of colour, width and opacity — hours after you drew it.

  • CAD measurement

Angle and 3-point arc tools follow CATIA/NX muscle memory: click start, end, then vertex, with a live degree/radius readout that trails the cursor. Measurements stay editable objects.

  • QA stamps & markers

Drop auto-incrementing ①②③ markers, letter markers, check/cross and one-click OK / NOK stamps at a uniform size — built for inspection reports.

  • Blur & focus

Blur serial numbers and operator names, or drop a focus rectangle that dims everything except the region under discussion. Both remain adjustable objects.

  • Freeze & boards

Freeze all monitors so live gauges can’t change mid-markup, or switch to whiteboard / blackboard for training sessions — annotations persist per mode.

Three steps

From “I need to mark this” to a shared image in seconds

  1. Open

Press the global hotkey. The overlay activates on the current monitor with your last tool pre-armed. Freeze the screen if it’s live.

  2. Draw

Arrows, callouts, blur, stamps, measurements — each is a single keystroke. Everything you place remains a selectable object.

  3. Export

Copy to clipboard, save a PNG/JPG, or keep the editable JSON project for re-inspection later. Repeat your last export with one key.

How it compares

Illustrator-grade editing at Snipping-Tool speed

Pointofix is the closest thing to Edivect — the same draw-anywhere overlay, free, and it has been doing it for years. The difference is what happens after you let go of the mouse.
